Application Instructions - Columbus State Community College
Nominees are invited to apply for induction into the Society of the Compass. Please
follow the instructions below to complete the application process. Make sure that
the application and all required materials are submitted by the stated deadline.
- Go to https://www.cscc.edu/scholarships, and click on the link that says “View and Apply for Scholarships.”
- Enter your CSCC username and password, and complete the General Application. Please
be aware that the General Application will require that you submit the name and email
address of a personal reference (this should be someone other than the person who
nominated you). This reference may be a CSCC faculty or staff member, or from a non-family
community member, who will be asked to submit a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
- Once you complete the General Application, click on the “Opportunities” tab at the
top menu, and select “Recommended” opportunities. From the list, select “Society
of the Compass Award.”
- Complete the Society of the Compass opportunity application.
