Research Interests/Other Interests
My academic interests are international trade, foreign relations, economic and human
development, and economic systems. I am also interested in research about learning
styles: I am heading a study on how the different types of learners perform in various
subject matters and with various professors, and how learning styles are related to
retention rates.
In my other life, I like watching football (Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Ohio
State, Tennessee), basketball (I love college hoops, shoot the rock!), baseball (Reds
and Indians), and hockey (Avalanche, Flyers, and I was a huge Nordique fan). I bike,
golf, play basketball and softball, and listen to heavy metal and alternative music
(Black Sabbath, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Venom, Metallica, Alice in Chains, and Pearl
Jam).
