The Ohio Revised Code requires vehicle operators to have a valid driver’s license,
valid license plates, and proof of insurance.
Follow all traffic rules and regulations while on campus; failure to do so may result
in citations issued by the CSCC Police.
Obey posted speed limit signs on campus and where not posted the speed limit is 15
mph. Campus roads are also pedestrian walkways; pedestrians have the right-of-way.
Vehicles parked on property controlled by CSCC must purchase parking online orin the
cashier's office located in Rhodes Hall and must park in accordance with posted signage
and restrictions. Handicap parking privileges do NOT exempt the requirement to purchase
All vehicles must be parked in designated areas in accordance with parking signs.
Columbus State will not accept any vehicle for safekeeping; nor shall CSCC be responsible
for loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents by fire, theft, vandalism, criminal
damaging, acts of nature, or any other cause. Nor shall CSCC be responsible for any
loss, damage, or injury by or to any person that occurs on property controlled or
owned by Columbus State. Columbus State is not responsible for towing and storage
fees, losses or damage to any vehicle towed.
