Financial Aid Allowance


Dates  Check Funds  FAQ

Eligible Financial Aid (FA) recipients will receive up to $1,000.00 credit at the Columbus State Bookstore, which may be used in-store or online at bookstore.cscc.edu. Funds not used will be disbursed to students who remain eligible for financial aid.

Online Ordering Note: If you are a financial aid student and select the wrong payment method, or do not have enough funds to cover the entire order, then your order will be cancelled during processing.

How to Check Funds:

Important Financial Aid Dates

SU26

  • CCP Voucher Opens, May 22—Your order will be canceled if you are not authorized to use the CCP Voucher payment method.
  • Third-Party Sponsorship Opens, May 22—Your order will be canceled if you are not authorized to use the Third-Party Sponsorship payment method.
  • Financial Aid Opens, May 26—First day to purchase using Financial Aid.
  • First Day of Semester,  June 1
  • Financial Aid Return Deadline, June 15—Receipt required. Purchases after this date may be returned following the bookstore return policy. 
  • Financial Aid Closes, June 29—Last day to purchase using Financial Aid.
  • Financial Aid Balances Released, July 8—Financial Aid credit balances released. Direct deposit: 1-2 business days for bank processing. Check: up to 14 days processing plus standard USPS delivery time.
  • Semester Ends, Aug. 15

Only the student may make purchases using their Financial Aid funds. Your Cougar ID number and a valid photo ID (Columbus State Cougar ID, driver's license, state or military ID) is required for in-person transactions and checking balances.
