Financial Aid Allowance
Eligible Financial Aid (FA) recipients will receive up to $1,000.00 of their excess anticipated Financial Aid to use at the Columbus State Bookstore, which may be used in-store or online at bookstore.cscc.edu. Funds not used will be refunded to students who remain eligible for financial aid, after specificed time periods each semester.
Online Ordering Note: If you are a financial aid student and select the wrong payment method, or do not have enough funds to cover the entire order, then your order will be canceled during processing.
How to Check Funds:
To view your anticipated financial aid and how it applies to your balance, log in to Workday, go to View Account Activity and select Anticipated Payments.
If your excess anticipated funds are not available, or you have questions, please see the Disbursement page for more information, or contact the Telephone Information Center at 614-287-2648.

Autumn Semester 2026
- CCP Voucher Opens, Aug. 21 (Authorization Required)
- Third-Party Sponsorship Opens, Aug. 21 (Authorization Required)
- Financial Aid Opens, Aug. 25
- Semester Starts, Aug. 31
- Return Deadline, Sept. 14 (Receipt required. Purchases after this date may be returned following the bookstore return policy)
- Third-Party Sponsorship Closes, Sept. 28
- Financial Aid Closes, Sept. 28*
- Financial Aid Credit Balances Released, Sept. 30
- Semester Ends, Dec. 19
*Financial Aid funding will remain available at the bookstore for students enrolled in late-start courses who continue to show anticipated aid through November 20, 2026. Students enrolled in courses that begin on the traditional start date will follow the standard Financial Aid disbursement schedule outlined above.
Note: The college will be begin processing Financial Aid (FA) student refunds every Wednesday, beginning September 30. During this process the bookstore will be unable to complete FA transactions in store. This process is anticipated to be completed by 12pm, at which time the bookstore will resume processing FA transactions.

Only the student may make purchases using their Financial Aid funds. Your Cougar ID number and a valid photo ID (Columbus State Cougar ID, driver's license, state or military ID) is required for in-person transactions and checking balances.
