With the disruption of Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 classes due to COVID-19, we have
relaxed some key dates, deadlines, and procedures to give you the time needed to adjust
to new ways of learning and make informed choices about what’s next.
We have a limited number of Chromebooks and hotspot devices for internet access available
for loan. For more information, contact Lisa Phillips at 614-287-2503 / firstname.lastname@example.org.
Later Start to Autumn Registration
The start of the autumn semester registration period (previously announced as May
7) has been changed to Thursday, May 14.
The later start date will provide time to finalize updates to the autumn master schedule,
including the addition of a greater number of first and second eight-week offerings.
These eight-week terms will provide greater flexibility for both instructors and students
who are juggling multiple classes and other responsibilities.
Academic advisors stand ready to assist with questions or planning needs for both
Summer and Autumn semesters, and can be reached by phone or email.
Free Shipping from the Bookstore
The physical Bookstore location will remain closed for the start of Summer Semester.
Students can purchase all course books and supplies through the Bookstore website. All online purchases will ship free of charge until July 31.
Moving Summer Semester to Remote Delivery
To continue putting the health and safety of our students and community first, summer
classes, including all science labs, will be taught in the remote format. Please note
that classes originally planned to be in the classroom (with a campus/regional learning
center location listed in the course schedule) will be delivered remotely for Summer
Semester. Classes indicated with the location "web" will be delivered through our
usual online format (see Online vs. remote learning. What's the difference?).
Delaying Autumn Registration
To allow more time to finalize Summer Semester plans to move classes to remote delivery,
registration for Autumn Semester will open on May 7, 2020 (instead of April 20 as
orignally scheduled). If you are in a pre-registration population, please check with
your advisor for dates.
