Technology assistance for students
Update | Tuesday, June 8, 2021
Columbus State is changing the technology lending program put in place to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.
The major change for Summer 2021 is that the College is no longer accepting new applications for mobile hot spots. Students who currently have a hot spot and are enrolled for Summer Semester will have access to the device until the end of the semester. New students or those who need internet access can complete the HEERF: Student Emergency Relief Grant Application and indicate that they need assistance with Internet access. Eligible students may receive a grant to help secure internet access.
While supplies last, an enrolled student can borrow a personal computer for the semester. If a student needs a computer, they should complete the computer lending agreement. The lending agreement can be completed at this link. Once a completed application is confirmed, IT will share information with the student about when and where to pick up a device.
