Volunteer for Student Conduct Hearing Board

Student News | Monday, March 20, 2023

The Office of Student Conduct seeks faculty, staff, and students to join the Student Conduct Hearing Board. This is a professional development opportunity that includes a training session before joining. The application deadline is Tuesday, April 11 at noon.

About the Board
The SCHB is a body of faculty, staff, and students. The Board works with the Office of Student Conduct to hear cases involving allegations of violations of the Student Code of Conduct. When cases are heard, the Board must determine if a violation occurred and, if so, identify appropriate outcomes.

Volunteers first attend one required virtual training session on Zoom. There are currently three to choose from this semester:

Tuesday, April 4 from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 6 from 8:30 to noon
Wednesday, April 12 from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

To learn more or apply to serve on the Board, complete the Student Conduct Hearing Board Volunteer Application Form, or visit the Office of Student Conduct/SCHB for more information.
