In an online class, you will have access to many tools to enhance your learning experience. This page provides an overview of each tool that is supported by the College, along with links to more in-depth information about how to use each. If you are in a remote class that uses a tool that is not on this page, please consult your instructor for information and technical assistance.

Blackboard is our online learning management system. If you’ve already taken classes at Columbus State, you’re probably familiar with accessing course content in Blackboard. If not, we will give you all the support you need to learn Blackboard in no time.
Usernames & Passwords
You can change or discover your account information at password.cscc.edu. This update will apply to all CSCC systems (Blackboard, email, Self-Service, etc.) Do not use the reset link provided by Microsoft.
In addition to Blackboard, email is the main way we connect with students. You will receive emails from your professors, as well as important messages from the College on deadlines and events on campus.
The Department of Accessibility & Testing is ready to remove barriers to online learning. The department can provide adapted texts, help with testing accommodations, note-taking assistance, and other accommodations.
To get assistance, check out How to Register with Accessibility Services
Students currently registered with Accessibility Services should reach out to their Advocate if they have any questions or concerns.
