Thank you for your interest in the Health Careers Opportunity Program. At this time we are not accepting new applications and the program will be ending on June 30th, 2024. If you are a current HCOP student with questions, please contact Rodger Stinson or Tyrone Spencer.
Healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries in the country, and it offers many in-demand career paths. The Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) is part of a national grant program aimed at helping students from disadvantaged backgrounds enter health professions. Columbus State offers associate degrees in many high-demand fields, including respiratory care, medical imaging, and dental hygiene.
The Health Careers Opportunity Program at Columbus State offers educational summer programs for high school students and entering Columbus State freshmen, as well as scholarships for students participating in a health major.
