Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services.
Education for Business Growth
Participants will receive a free 10-week training program on how to grow their business, as well as one-on-one business advising and the opportunity to learn from other like-minded business owners.
The curriculum was designed by Babson College, the nation’s top-ranked entrepreneurship school, and will be taught locally by Columbus State's accredited Business Management faculty. Goldman Sachs chose Columbus State as its Central Ohio partner for this initiative.
The program is looking for businesses that have been in operation for at least a year, with 2-3 employees and at least $150,000 in revenue, who have room to grow.

Access to Capital
Small business owners learn how to become more bankable and position their businesses to access financing and capital. Through partnerships with local, regional and national Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and other mission-driven small business lenders “Capital Partners," loans are available to qualifying small businesses that lack access to affordable capital or may not qualify for traditional sources of credit.
Loan applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, independent of acceptance into the business and management education program. Learn more.
