Each semester academic departments are required to create the academic offering from
their programs for the next semester. This work begins with a request to the Office
of Curriculum Management for active sections from the previous years schedule to be
copied or not. Once the semester is set up by Curriculum Management, the schedule
building materials are provided to the academic departments so that they can begin
their work. The materials available below are those provided for each of the semesters
academic build process.
Prior to the start of registration, academic departments should review and verify
that all of their sections offerings are accurate and meet the needs of their student
population. Once registration opens, they should be monitoring the fill rate of their
offerings and providing additional sections as needed. The Office of Curriculum Management
conducts ongoing section integrity checks but relies upon the academic departments
