Virtual tours now available for prospective students

With on-campus tours suspended during the pandemic, Admissions needed a way to showcase the College to prospective students. Marketing and Communications team members Nichole Johnson, Ivy Lamb, Jenna James, and Darrien Velasquez worked on logistics to produce a virtual campus tour. Danielle Sanborn in Admissions assisted on the project.

To host the tour, they selected Megan Mechlin. She was a member of Columbus State’s volleyball team and just graduated with an Associate of Science degree. She’s transferring to Ohio State University with a career goal to be an exotic animal veterinarian. Considering Mechlin provided campus tours at Columbus State, she was a perfect choice for the role.

The virtual tour was filmed on May 5, then released on social media and the College website last week. You can view the 10-minute tour at this link.
