Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has appointed Fifth Third Private Bank executive Stephanie Green to the Columbus State Community College Board of Trustees.
Green is the senior vice president and managing director of Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Private Bank. In her role, she oversees the Wealth and Asset Management Division for Fifth Third Bank covering Central Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Green is a Columbus native and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and finance from Hampton University. Her appointment to the Columbus State board is effective through August 2025.
Columbus State President David Harrison said, “Stephanie’s background will greatly enhance the College’s ability to help our community respond to current challenges, and strengthen the College for long-term success. Her knowledge will assist the Board of Trustees and our leadership team as we work to address the region’s workforce needs following the coronavirus pandemic and beyond.”
“I’m honored to be appointed to this board and am excited to continue to build on the great work that Dr. Harrison and his team have already done. Columbus State’s commitment and holistic approach to student success and developing a robust workforce for Central Ohio are both missions I share,” Green said.
“Being a proud graduate from Columbus Public Schools, I understand the need for access to quality, affordable higher educational opportunities. I’m also pleased to serve the community where I was born and raised and which provided so many opportunities for me.”
