The SCPro Fundamentals courses are single credit courses that can be available entirely online. For specific cost information, please see Columbus State’s Tuition & Fees page. Beginning April 1, 2017 SCPro™ Fundamentals certification exam fee waivers will no longer accepted. The cost for the SCPro™ Fundamentals certification exam is not included in the cost of the course.
Each one, credit online course have a similar format and follow the college's academic calendar. All content is available online and no additional textbooks are required for the one credit courses. Students work through the content independently at their own pace and must complete all course requirements by the end of the semester. Each course includes multiple choice chapter quizzes and a comprehensive multiple choice final exam that mirrors the format of the SCPro™ Fundamentals certification exam.
Professional certifications test the knowledge you may already possess. All of the certifications require an exam to test that knowledge and can be taken at a local testing facility. TheSCPro™ Fundamentals certifications are designed to be acquired quickly. The time required may differ from person to person, depending on existing experience levels and the amount of time available to put towards learning the material. Certifications can be earned in as little as four weeks.
Columbus State offers all 8 certification tracks: transportation operations, customer service operations, warehouse operations, supply chain principles, demand planning, inventory management, manufacturing & service operations, and supply management & procurement.
Yes, In fact, it is recommended. According to recent research conducted with industry advisory partners a key skill many employers are seeking are individuals that have cross-functional training. Students typically complete two to four tracks that are tailored to meet their career goals and interest within the supply chain industry.
