Wednesday: National African American Read-In

Columbus State celebrates a tradition to celebrate African American literary and literacy awareness. Throughout February, groups nationwide will gather to read and share works by Black authors.

Columbus State's participation is recorded by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and the International Reading Association. The event is sponsored by the English Department, Student Engagement and Inclusion, and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. 

The Columbus State Read-In will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Nestor Hall East Lounge on the Columbus Campus.
