Columbus State’s inaugural CougarCon convention took place in the Center for Workforce Development on May 19 and 20. Based on the popular ComicCon, the event featured comics, graphic novels, anime, art, video game competitions, tabletop games, a movie, along with entertainment, food, and prizes.
More than 300 people attended CougarCon. Faculty, staff, and students provided presentations on an array of topics. Proceeds will be donated to The Mid-Ohio Market at Columbus State. Planning is already underway to make CougarCon an annual event. A highlight video will be shown at the next First Wednesday.
