Blackboard Virtual Drop-in Labs for students

If you need assistance learning Blackboard, Information Technology (IT) has resources and support available. Blackboard Virtual Drop-in Labs are available for all students needing individualized help navigating Blackboard. These drop-in sessions will be held on Zoom. You may join anytime during the listed sessions. Individual questions will be addressed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The labs are available daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 28, through Thursday, Aug. 31. If you need an interpreter or other accommodations, please email it-training@cscc.edu for more information.​​​​​​​

There are also a variety of online resources available, including the interactive Blackboard orientation and the Blackboard Crash Course. Access this page for more information and tips for success.

In-person support is also available from the IT Frontliners. On the Columbus campus, they are in the Center for Technology and Learning in the Cyber Cafe (TL Lobby) or inside the Computer Commons lab (TL 116). On the Delaware Campus, they are in the Learning Center in Moeller Hall.

Information Technology (IT) reminders for Autumn Semester

  • Office 365 Current students can install Microsoft Office on their personal device for free. Review this article about Office 365 for detailed instructions.
  • Wi-Fi on campus Current students and employees should use the "CSCC" network for best performance. Log in using your Columbus State email address and password. The "CSCC-Visitor" network is intended for users who do not have an account. Review the appropriate article for device-specific instructions. 
  • You can also use the eduroam network and your CSCC credentials to connect to Wi-Fi at other participating universities and colleges. See where this service is offered here: https://eduroam.org/where/.
  • Computer lab Need a computer or printer to use? Stop by the Computer Commons lab (TL room 116) on the Columbus Campus or the Learning Center (Moeller Hall) on the Delaware Campus.      
  • Technical assistance Need help? Contact the IT Support Center at 614-287-5050 or email helpdesk@cscc.edu. In-person support is also available from the IT Frontliners.
