Sign up to be a Poll Worker

Student News | Monday, January 31, 2022

While January 25 was designated as National Poll Worker Recruitment Day, it’s not too late to sign up for the upcoming Primary Election.

Each Election Day, Franklin County needs more than 5,000 poll workers to operate polling locations. To encourage fair and impartial elections and ensure a smooth Election Day experience, each site must have individuals identifying with both major political parties. As a registered voter, you can support democracy in action by serving on Election Day.

Poll Workers are needed for every election. The next election in Ohio is the May 3 Primary. To encourage community members to participate, the Franklin County Board of Elections offers a flexible training schedule, including weekend and evening options.
