Engaging Men in Violence Prevention program begins Sept. 22
Student News | Tuesday, September 6, 2022
Columbus State students are invited to participate in a four-week program entitled Engaging Men in Violence Prevention. Workshops will be hosted on four consecutive Thursdays (September 22 through October 13) from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Workforce Development (WD) building, room 1094.
This project focuses on developing male allies in sexual violence prevention but is open to all genders. At the end of the series, participants will be equipped with critical violence prevention skills, understand opportunities to get involved in statewide and national movements, and will be recognized with a completion certificate and other incentives. This program is sponsored by the Office of Student Engagement & Inclusion in partnership with the Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio (SARNCO).
