Take the hunger challenge

Student News | Monday, September 26, 2022

Student Engagement & Inclusion is encouraging students at Columbus State to join the End Hunger in 30 Challenge, sponsored by the Congressional Hunger Center. By setting aside 30 minutes a day for 30 days throughout the month of October, participants will understand the root causes of hunger in the United States and learn how they can advocate for change.

"Nobody is "pro-hunger." And yet, despite hundreds of thousands of hours each year spent volunteering and donating to groups in the United States, hunger is still with us. Why? Read brief articles, watch short videos, and engage in conversation with people across the country.

Earn points for commenting on discussion points and enter to win fun mystery prizes! By the end of the 30 days, you will become a Zero Hunger Advocate and can effectively make a change in your community.

Sign up here and register for the End Hunger in 30 Challenge. Create your account and start the lessons today. You will receive reminder emails to complete the 30 minutes and reach your goals.
