Student News | Monday, September 12, 2022

On Day of Service, the Columbus State Police Department will put together up to 100 care kits for the Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Homeless and Domestic Violence shelters. The LSS Network of Hope assists those in crisis in overcoming barriers to becoming self-sufficient. The department is asking for your donations and support.

Donations may be dropped off anytime this month ahead of Day of Service (September 27) at the Police Department in the lower level of Delaware Hall on the Columbus Campus or the front entrance of Moeller Hall on the Delaware Campus. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Officer Megan Hale at mhale14@cscc.edu or Senior Advisor for DEI Renée Hill at rhill39@cscc.edu.

Items needed for donations to put in the kits include:

full-sized shampoo/conditioner
body wash
lotion
toothpaste
toothbrush
deodorant
disposable razors
shaving cream
combs/brushes
Feminine products
ethnic hair care products
