QPR suicide prevention training

Student News | Monday, September 23, 2019

The signs of crisis are all around us. We believe that quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know.

Question. Persuade. Refer. (QPR) is a proven suicide prevention gatekeeper course that reduces suicidal behaviors and saves lives by providing innovative and practical skills to trainees. Instructors are trained and certified by the QPR Institute, to offer college-wide evidence-based suicide prevention training.

Are you ready to save a life? The next open training session for faculty, staff, and students will be held on Friday, October 4 from 1:30-3:00 p.m. in Nestor Hall 314
