Women's cross country athlete Emily Blenk had a banner weekend at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Div. III National Cross Country Championships. They were held Saturday, November 2, in Westfield, Massachusetts.

While her team, the Columbus State Cougars, finished in the top-20, Blenk fished tenth in the 5K, and her time of 20:23 was the third-fastest time in school history. This performance comes a week after she won the regional title at the NJCAA Region 12 Championships with a time of 20:30. Blenk is the eight female cross country runner to earn All-American honors and the first since Laura Hill and Stevie Shepherd in 2016.
