Admissions
Listed below are requirements for admission to the Surgical Technology program:
- College Placement Testing for Accuplacer in Reading and Writing. Students who have
college transfer credit for ENGL 1100 with a "C" or better will not be required to
take the placement test. *
- College Placement Testing for ALEKS. Placement into MATH 1104 or STAT 1350 or higher.
Students who have college transfer credit of STAT 1350 or higher will not be required
to take the placement test. *
- GPA of 2.7 or better in most recently completed coursework.
* In lieu of placement testing, CSCC will accept Official High School Transcripts,
ACT, or SAT results.
