Research
For Associate of Science (A.S.) students planning to transfer on to earn a bachelor's
degree in a science major, research opportunities are an important part of rounding
out your education to prepare for a career. Columbus State professors work closely
with our A.S. students to secure research positions, often while you complete your
first two years of your degree at Columbus State. Our students have taken part in
research that includes:
- Semester at Sea Presidential Scholars Program
- NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars Program
- Research positions at The Ohio State University
To explore research opportunities in specific subjects, let your professors in related
science classes know of your interest so you can work one-on-one to secure a position
that is the right fit for your education and career goals.
