The field of massage therapy is a rapidly growing career path. The 10-year job outlook from 2021-2031 predicts a growth of 20%, a much higher growth rate than average. Therapeutic massage is being incorporated into hospital and chiropractic settings, high-end spas and hotels provide luxury relaxation, athletes and teams utilize sports massage for pre- and post-performance, corporate massage establishments continue to grow, and many massage therapists choose to be entrepreneurs by owning and managing their own practice, spa, or wellness center.
