Concert Band

New Director for Concert Band

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Jochen McEvoy has accepted the position of director for the Concert Band at Columbus State.  Students may enroll in MUS 1204 Concert Band with permission of the director, and community members of the ensemble may also contact Mr. McEvoy to confirm interest in continuing to play with the band.  His email is jmcevoy@cscc.edu and he is eager to hear from students and community members alike.  Rehearsals will remain on Tuesday evenings, beginning at 5:30 pm. 

For community members of the ensemble, the first rehearsal will be September 5.   The chair of the Humanities department, Dr. Patrice Ross, can also be reached at pross@cscc.edu should there be any further questions.

All Columbus State concerts are free and open to the public.
