How to start your journey to become a Healthcare Manager (HCM) here at Columbus State:
Step 1: Apply to the college and meet with an advisor
- Fill out an application with Columbus State Community College declaring your program of study to be "Healthcare Manager Degree". Applicants can also declare "Healthcare Manager Degree" as their major at Student Central, located on the upper level of Madison Hall. You can also call the Telephone Information Center at 614-287-5353.
- Schedule an appointment with an Academic Advisor https://www.cscc.edu/services/advising/hhs-advising.shtml or hhsadvising@cscc.edu.
Step 2: Placement Exam
Healthcare Manager Program Admission Requirements:
- Placement into ENGL 1100
- Placement into Math 1148 or STAT 1350
- High School Biology or BIO 0100
- High School Chemistry or Chem 0100
- GPA of 2.000 or higher at CSCC or the school or college most recently attended (high school, vocational program, two-year or four-year higher education institution). If less than 12 credits have been completed at CSCC, the GPA from the most recently attended learning institution will be used for program admission purposes.
Step 3: Register for classes
