In addition to the general scholarships available to all CSCC students through our Development Foundation, below is a list of those exclusively for students enrolled in Design, Construction & Trades plans of study.

Every semester, a number of these are never awarded simply because no one bothered to apply. Why wouldn’t you? Please don’t leave money on the table!!! Apply!!!

Be mindful there are submission date deadlines so be sure you get your applications in early.

Scholarship Opportunities in the CSCC Portal

AEP Foundation Sustainable Building Scholarship

Objective: To provide funding for CSCC students as well as professional in the building industries to complete the Sustainable Building Certificate.
Applicable Majors: Any Design, Construction & Trades major
Seeking: Degree or Certificate
Enrollment: Full or Part Time
$1000 award
2.5 GPA minimum
Use of funds: Tuition & fees

AIA (American Institute of Architects)

Objective: To provide an educational opportunity to students in the Architecture program at CSCC.
Applicable Majors: Architecture
Seeking: Degree or Certificate

$500 minimum award

Bryant Dealers / Habegger Scholarship

Objective: To provide financial assistance to Columbus State students studying HVAC Technology
Applicable Majors: HVAC
Seeking: Degree or Certificate
Enrollment: Full or Part Time
$500 / $1000 minimum award
Separate awards for:
- $1000 for degree completion
- $500 for financial need
- $500 entering freshman
- $500 for women in the trade

Central Ohio Chapter of Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio

Objective: To provide financial assistance to students who are on the path to become professional surveyors.
Applicable Majors: Bridge to Fundamental Surveying Certificate or Civil Engineering Technology – Survey Track AAS
Seeking: Degree or Certificate

$500 minimum award

CESO Surveying Scholarship

Objective: To provide financial assistance to students who are on the path to become professional surveyors.
Applicable Majors: Bridge to Fundamental Surveying Certificate or Civil Engineering Technology – Survey Track AAS

Construction Financial Management Association Scholarship

Objective: To provide financial assistance to CSCC students who are employed in or plan to enter the field of financial management.
Applicable Majors: Accounting or Any Design, Construction & Trades major

Construction Sciences Scholarship

Objective: To provide financial assistance for Columbus State Design, Construction, & Trades Department students to enable them to continue their education

Donald A. Borror/Dominion Homes Scholarship

Objective: To assist students attending CSCC enrolled in the Construction Management program and working in or planning to enter the field of residential construction.

Fred Boso Scholarship

Objective: Create both a restricted and endowed scholarship for Construction Management, Civil Engineering, and Survey majors in the name of CTI graduate Fred Bosco.
Applicable Majors: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Transportation Construction Inspection Certificate Level I or Level II

Hamilton Parker Company / Lewin Family Foundation Scholarship

Objective: To provide financial assistance to CSCC Construction Management students to enable then to continue their education.

Landscape Alumni Fund

Objective: To provide financial assistance to CSCC students who are pursuing a degree in Landscape Design and Management.

Objective: Bring more people into skilled trades, teach them to do it right, and then put them to work in good paying jobs.
