Bookstore earns recognition for digital access

BookstoreThe Columbus State Bookstore has been recognized as a 2020-2021 RedShelf Digital Champion. Chicago-based RedShelf is a provider of digital textbooks and related software. The award recognizes the College’s excellence in providing affordability, access, and efficiency to students through digital course materials. Columbus State was recognized as one of just 20 awardees out of RedShelf’s 1,500 partners nationwide. See the award

Award highlights for Columbus State:

  • The Bookstore had more than 250% growth in the Instant Access program from 2020 to 2021
  • The Bookstore is in the top 3% of institutions nationwide served by RedShelf 
  • The Bookstore has the 20th largest Instant Access account with RedShelf nationwide
  • The Bookstore has the fifth largest Instant Access account among community colleges

Columbus State will have 93 Autumn Semester courses in the Instant Access program.
