Introduction to DevOps Certificate
Information Technology (IT) systems management and software development professionals are relied upon to develop and maintain resilient solutions using emerging cloud technologies. This program teaches professionals the basics of building and managing such solutions.
The 12-week program is intended for individuals with pre-requisite knowledge of basic IT software development technologies, including basic programming, simple code versioning, and basic software configuration. The program was developed in partnership with Nationwide and includes coursework on Docker, Kubernetes, HELM, and GitHub Actions. The course equips students with practical skills needed for DevOps environments through a hands-on learning approach.
Columbus State currently offers the DevOps Certificate as a cohort program for current Nationwide associates. Employers interested in learning more about how this program can be used to upskill and reskill existing employees should contact workforce@cscc.edu for more information.
