Originally from Pennsylvania, Richard has been living in the greater Columbus area since 2016 and joined the Columbus State community in 2019. He enjoys working with students in various facets of their educational experiences, including serving as a teaching assistant and course instructor while in graduate school; working as a professional staff member in housing and residence life; and supporting students and institutions in the field of student conduct. Richard helps students foster a clearer and more compassionate understanding of the impact of their decisions on themselves and others. He also supports students develop growth in independent thinking skills, and a keener sense of civility to promote a positive campus and community experience. Richard earned his Master of Arts degree in American Studies from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Communications Media from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Evelyn relocated to the greater Columbus area in Summer 2026 to join Columbus State Community College as the Assistant Director of Student Conduct. Evelyn is passionate about helping students learn and grow through both their successes and challenges. She believes the student conduct process should be educational, encouraging students to reflect, take accountability, and develop skills that support their personal and academic success. Prior to joining Columbus State, Evelyn served in several student affairs leadership roles, most recently as the Director of Student Success at Miami Dade College. Throughout her career, she has worked in student conduct, student success, retention initiatives, and student development, with a focus on helping students overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Evelyn earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership and Management from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. She is dedicated to fostering a student-centered environment where every student feels supported, respected, and empowered to succeed.

Originally from northeast Ohio, Laura has called Columbus home since 2009 and joined the Columbus State Community in 2023. She found a passion for working with students through her own experiences in undergrad and has spent the better part of a decade working within higher education in various professional roles, mostly in housing/residence life and student involvement. Laura believes that the pursuit of education is one of the most important journeys a person can take and that with the proper support, resources and motivation that journey can lead to incredible places. As a Program Coordinator, she hopes to help students make the most of their experience at Columbus State and to provide a supportive, welcoming, and inclusive environment to foster positive student development. Laura received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Communication from Otterbein University.

Lynn came to Columbus State Community College in 2014, driven by her passion to serve in the higher education arena. Following in the path of serving, she is involved with mentoring programs, Mid-Ohio Food Bank, and has served as a team lead for the annual Staff Day of Service. She received an Associate's Degree in Theology from the Way College, Indiana Campus. Lynn enjoys being a mother of one, grandmother of three and great-grandmother of four.
