Mid-Ohio Market

The Mid-Ohio Market at Columbus State (MOM @CState) is a resource for students and community members to access free, fresh, and shelf-stable food on a regular basis. It is located at 400 Grove Street on the Columbus Campus.

Who is Eligible

Eligible shoppers must have a household income that is less than 200% of the federal poverty level. There is no limit to how many times per month eligible shoppers can visit the Market.

Students can schedule an appointment to receive a prepacked box at the Market through the CState Cares Hub Booking Page

How To Access Service

The Mid-Ohio Market is offering in-person service every service day. Customers will be able to shop through the Market and choose from the food on offer for that day.

Market Hours

Monday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Wednesday 2 p.m.-6 p.m.

Thursday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Mid-Ohio Market service hours mirror that of Columbus State Community College class schedules and will be closed during planned and emergency campus closures (spring & between-term breaks, weather emergencies, & holidays recognozed by the College).

Be the first to know about closures by signing up for RAVE, a text alert system used only for communicating emergency closures and snow days at Columbus State. You do not need to be a student to sign up for this alert service.

Can You Help?

The Mid-Ohio market is always in need of dedicated volunteers! We need your help in fulfilling this vital mission. We welcome volunteers whether you are affiliated with Columbus State or not. Please note that you may need to lift 30lbs and shifts are in three-hour blocks. We have taken protective measures in the facility to be sure that service is safe for everyone.
