Workday Student rollout quickly approaching

Workday Student is on the way! In fact, the first rollout of Workday Student functionality will begin on Monday, Oct. 13. That day, students applying for Autumn Semester 2026 admission will fill out an application in Workday Student.

When Workday Student moves to production Oct. 13, it will mark a major step forward in modernizing the student experience at Columbus State.

As part of this launch, the Autumn 2026 application will open, giving future students a streamlined way to apply. This is a key moment in our commitment to making the admissions process more accessible, efficient, and student-centered.

Later this semester, the Curriculum Office and academic departments will begin building course sections for Autumn Semester 2026. This work will provide the basis for course registration in Workday Student, which students will start to use in Spring Semester 2026 as they prepare for the Autumn Semester 2026 term.

To help successfully transition faculty and staff to Workday Student, training activities are already underway, starting with teams that have the most extensive training plans. Additional groups will begin training as we approach the launch of the functionality they’ll be using—helping to ensure everyone is prepared to support students effectively.  If you have not yet received an invitation for training related to Workday Student, don’t worry, you will!
