Organizational Development & People Analytics (ODPA) has announced the latest professional development options. They include a new set of courses: Everything DiSC® WorkSmart. Additional courses include Everything DiSC® on Catalyst, LinkedIn Learning Virtual Workshops and Workday Virtual Training.
NEW: Everything DiSC® WorkSmart
This set of five short form learning modules is designed to help learners apply DiSC®
to everyday interpersonal challenges. Worksmart combines DiSC insights, short-form
facilitated virtual training, and on-demand action planning, ensuring learners can
immediately apply DiSC to a range of interpersonal situations. Completing the Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ workshop (listed just below the five modules) is a pre-requisite for the WorkSmart modules. The modules can be taken in any order. Sign up for any or all five modules.
1. Giving Constructive Feedback
Next session: Thursday, July 3
Learners explore the challenges of giving feedback with personalized insights based
on their DiSC style. Learners learn the four key elements that make feedback strong,
actionable, and encouraging as well as how to flex each of the elements based on their
teammates’ styles.
2. Managing Conflict
Next sessions: Tuesday, July 1, and Friday, July 11
Learners explore their behavioral instincts when they’re faced with conflict and examine
how others have different instincts based on their unique DiSC styles. Through discussion
and reflection, learners will create a custom action plan that will help them manage
conflict with a team member.
3. Empowering Your Team
Next session: Tuesday, July 15
Learners explore how to ensure each of their team members feels confident and effective
when they take the lead. They will explore their go-to empowerment approach based
on their DiSC style and understand how to adjust their approach to the needs of other
styles. Learners will build a custom empowerment plan for each of their team members
using Catalyst™.
4. Helping Your Team Navigate Change
First session: Friday, July 18
Learners gain a deeper understanding of change and how to help their team navigate
through it. Participants gain exposure to how different DiSC styles respond to change
and their varying needs as they adjust to change.
5. Motivating Your Team
First session: Friday, July 25
Learners explore what’s motivating and demotivating for themselves and their team
members based on DiSC style. They also create action plans to foster a motivating
environment where people feel inspired and excited about their work.
Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™
Next sessions: Tuesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 31
This workshop is designed to engage everyone in building more effective relationships
at work, help people adapt to others in real-time, and unlock engagement and inspire
more effective collaboration. During this in-person, interactive workshop, learners
will:
Discover their DiSC® style
Deepen understanding of self and others
From better relationships with others
Access real-time tips for more effective interactions with their colleagues
Build the foundation for an ongoing learning journey

Introduction to LinkedIn Learning: Learn how LinkedIn Learning can help you grow personally and professionally. With
over 16,000 courses, there's something for everyone. This training will cover how
to access your free account, connect it with your existing LinkedIn profile, and basic
platform navigation.
LinkedIn Learning Focus on Mindfulness: Discover the transformative power of mindfulness as we kick off the new year. Learn
how to manage stress, enhance your well-being, and stay present amidst the business
of life. Learn about the many tools and resources available through your free LinkedIn
Learning account.
LinkedIn Learning Communication Training: This training will provide you with a better understanding of how to communicate
effectively with your team members and will allow you to recognize ways to use communication
as a beneficial tool for success within the workplace.
LinkedIn Learning Focus on Accountability: Learn what accountability looks like in the workplace and recognize ways to hold others
accountable constructively. Discover all that LinkedIn Learning has to offer on the
topic of accountability.
LinkedIn Learning Focus on Time Management: Do you struggle with planning and prioritizing your tasks, goals, or projects effectively?
You might have a time management issue. This training can help you discover courses
that teach you proven techniques and tools to achieve work-life balance, manage your
energy, and avoid procrastination.
Workday Training:
New employees will have an opportunity to attend Workday training virtually every
month, whether they are in an individual contributor role or in a people leader role
with direct reports. Employees will learn how to navigate the Workday system with
respect to their role and their day-to-day responsibilities. Current employees are
welcome to attend as a refresher!
