Nominations now open for two Women’s HERstory awards

The 2022 Women’s Herstory Month Committee is now taking nominations for the Annual Women's Leadership Awards. Columbus State employees and students are invited to nominate members of the College community who they feel are excellent women leaders.

Award winners will be honored on Thursday, March 31, during the Annual Women's Leadership Summit being held both in-person and virtually. You may register on the webpage below:

2022 Women's HERstory Month - Legacy in Leadership Award

Nomination requirements: 

• Currently employed and served five or more years at the College
  Previous recipients from the past three years are not eligible.
• The founding purpose of this award is to celebrate those that exhibit a “heart of service” and fight for equity for all students.

2022 Women's HERstory Month Outstanding Woman Leader Award

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to use this form to nominate qualified students and employees at Columbus State Community College.  

Nomination requirements: 

Currently enrolled for Spring Semester or employed at the College 
Previous recipients from the past three years are not eligible. 
Nomination Criteria: 

• Serves as a role model and provides leadership in one’s profession or studies 
• Exemplifies service above self through civic or community engagement
• Demonstrates Columbus State’s values: student success, inclusion, quality, innovation, learning, partnership, stewardship, and leadership
