Gear Up for Student Employee Appreciation Week

Student Employee Appreciation Week is a time to celebrate the accomplishments of our student employees and to raise awareness of the student employment experience. It will be held April 12-16. If you have College Work-Study or Federal Work-Study students in your department, consider showing your appreciation to them directly. Here are some example activities: 

• Send their favorite lunch via delivery
• Mail a handwritten thank you note
• Hold a virtual team lunch and allow everyone to share thanks
• Drop off a treat/snack bag 
• Anything else to let them know you appreciate them!

Career Services has several virtual events planned for the week, including a Netflix Watch Party, mini Job Fair, and Student Employment Awards. View event details and RSVP on Cougar Connect. 

We are still accepting 20-30 second videos from staff sharing brief thanks and appreciation for our student employee to be featured in a Daily Dose special issue. Submit here by Friday, April 9.
