Donations for Scholar Network students

Update | Tuesday, November 16, 2021

Each year, the Columbus State community works to provide care package donations to Scholar Network students. The network is a vital support program for current and former foster youth attending the College. Due to the pandemic, Student Engagement and Inclusion (SEI) reimagined the care package.

For the end-of-semester care packages, SEI will collect donated food and grocery gift cards, new items such as scarves, gloves, hats, household items, and personal care items. Donations may be made until Monday, December 6.

Three ways to donate

  • In person at the SEI office in Nestor Hall 116
  • By mail (see below)
  • Online financial donations at the Columbus State Foundation donation portal

On the portal donation page, please select "other" under the "designation" section, then type in "Scholar Network" under "other."

If you have any questions or want to make a donation by mail, contact Katrina de los Santos, SEI program coordinator, at
