Student PC & Laptop Lending Changes

Update | Tuesday, January 26, 2021

Columbus State still has a limited number of Chromebooks and mobile hotspots for Wi-Fi available to loan to eligible students.

For those students interested in borrowing a Chromebook from the College, they must complete the Personal Computer Loan Agreement. Additionally, if they need to borrow a device that can be used as a mobile hot spot they must complete this hot spot borrowing agreement.

The loan process has changed slightly from last semester. The IT Support Center will now field requests and distribute equipment. If you have questions, contact the IT Support Center at or 614-287-5050 during their regular business hours.

Columbus State began lending devices to students during the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, the College has loaned out 655 personal computers (Chromebooks and laptops) and 439 hotspots.
