Exploration program to feature paralegal and criminal justice professionals

Update | Tuesday, November 2, 2021

Career Services will host a special virtual event next week for students interested in Paralegal, Legal and Criminal Justice careers. The Zoom event will provide students with the opportunity to talk with professionals in paralegal, legal, and criminal justice occupations about the work they do. Students will walk away with information to help them confirm their career choice and plan their careers.

The professionals who are attending are paralegals in non-profit, law firm and corporate positions, City of Columbus police detectives, evidence specialists, homicide detectives, probation officers from Franklin County municipal courts, our own Columbus State Deputy Police Chief, Steven Schemine, among others.

Students interested in attending this event must register here no later than Thursday, November 4 at noon. There are two identical sessions to choose from: Monday, November 8 and Tuesday, November 9. Both sessions are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
