Check out what’s New in Microsoft Teams
Many Columbus State employees are using Microsoft Teams to communicate with colleagues
while working remotely. Microsoft has made some changes over the last month that you
might be interested in learning more about. Many of these are only available in the
desktop version, which is recommended for full functionality. Read more about "What's New in Microsoft
Teams" at this link.
Reminder: Microsoft Teams virtual discussion May 27 and 28
If you have been using Microsoft Teams to collaborate with your colleagues and would
like to talk about it with employees from other areas, mark your calendars for discussions.
Information Technology (IT) will be holding Talking about Teams: A Virtual Discussion. It’s a participant-focused, guided group conversation in Teams where they can share
tips and tricks, celebrate our successes, and brainstorm solutions that everyone can
use going forward. There are two sessions to choose from:
Wednesday, May 27 from 11 a.m.-noon
Thursday, May 28 from 1-2 p.m.
Availability for each session will be limited. To register, log in to Cornerstone and hover over the “Learning” tab in the upper left. That will bring up a pull-down menu. Select “Events Calendar.” Click on the event listed on May 27 or May 28. Select Request to register. (See this guide for search and registration tips.)
If you have any questions, contact Michelle Guendelsberger , IT program coordinator.
