Gospel Vocal Ensemble to perform May 2

The Columbus State Gospel Vocal Ensemble (GVE), directed by Emma L. Easton, will present "Family Matters" on Friday, May 2 at 7 p.m. in the Nestor Hall Center for Performing Arts (formerly Nestor Auditorium). “Family Matters” is an extraordinary concert focused on fostering unity and solidarity within families. This uplifting experience will feature heartwarming melodies made famous by legendary family gospel groups, a captivating skit, and a dance that highlights the essence of family togetherness.
A unique twist for the evening will be the ensemble's version of a "Gospel" Family Feud. Special guests include vocalists Everett Johnson and GVE Alum Pastor Franklin Clark and dancers Shani Hawthorne and Simone Robinson.
