Are you looking to grow your skills and be part of something impactful? The Battery Workforce Challenge (BWC) offers a chance to develop expertise in battery engineering, manufacturing, and much more. This competition is managed by Argonne National Laboratory and backed by Stellantis. It prepares students to lead in advanced vehicle technology.
Join our team at OSU and Columbus State as we design, build, and test an EV battery pack for a RAM ProMaster electric van. Whether you’re into engineering, business, communications, or programming, there’s a place for you!
An information session will be held on the Columbus Campus at Columbus State's Automotive Lab on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. in Delaware Hall, room 151. (Free pizza will be provided.) Learn more about the challenge and how you can get involved. (See the flyer.)
In the first year, the team placed second overall and earned top honors in Project Management, Team Collaboration, and Battery Characterization. Now they are expanding the team and want you to join.
