Upward Bound seeks assistance with recruiting

Columbus State is currently recruiting new participants for its Upward Bound program. Upward Bound assists students in their pursuit of a high school diploma and prepares them for postsecondary education.
Interested students and families should meet the following criteria:
- Attend Linden-McKinley STEM, Mifflin, East, West, or Marion-Franklin high schools
- Be in the 9th or 10th grade
- Be a potential first-generation college student (neither parent or guardian could have obtained a bachelor’s degree or higher)
- Be income-eligible based on a sliding scale set by the Department of Education
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5
