Columbus State offers free personal counseling services for students

College is a time of new experiences and building for your future. It can also be a time of high stress, when mental health and wellness issues arise or manifest. In fact, most of the college students report experiencing frequent high stress, anxiety, and even depression. Especially in this time of COVID-19 changes and uncertainty, these instances are on the rise.

Reaching out to find effective ways of coping with situations and circumstances that trigger stress or other issues is a vital step to keeping yourself healthy and on track to your goals. Columbus State Community College offers free counseling services to current students, including virtual options that can be accessed anywhere. 

For the First Four Weeks of the semester Counseling Services is also offering virtual drop-in appointments every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. without a prior appointment necessary.
