Learn to combat implicit bias

Student News | Wednesday, March 21, 2018

Everyone has biases. Even college community members who are consciously committed to equality and providing the best support can fall victim to implicit biases, impacting the quality of our college environment.

Join Equitas Health, Counseling Services and Victim Advocacy for a training designed to give you the tools to recognize and combat explicit and implicit bias against the LGBTQ community, and their various intersecting identities. This training offers 2.0 free Continuing Education Units for Counselors, Psychologist, Social Workers and Nurses! The event will take place on Wednesday, March 28 from 1:00-3:00 pm in WD 404.  For additional questions please contact Corey Harris, Victim Advocate at charris12@cscc.edu.
