Fire Science

Our Fire Science programs are designed to allow you to obtain a firefighting certification prior to obtaining your associate degree. While a certification as a Firefighter allows you to start working right away, a Fire Science degree helps with initial hiring and promotional opportunities in the public safety field.

Fire Science Offices and the Fire Academy (Fire 1121 & 1122) are located at the Columbus State Southwest Aviation Maintenance Facility at Bolton Field.  The address is below:
