The next phase of the construction for OhioHealth Hall began with a beam signing on March 31 and April 1. OhioHealth leaders joined the Columbus State community on site to sign the steel beam that will top off the building’s frame, a landmark step in the construction process. The new health care education building will open in the fall of 2027.

The college is funding the $66.5 million academic building using bond proceeds approved by Franklin County residents. OhioHealth provided a $25 million philanthropic endowment to the college to support instruction and other operating costs of Columbus State’s expanded healthcare education programs.
