Commencement caps off Summer and Autumn semesters

Professor Emeritus Marilyn Howard, who taught in the Columbus State Department of Humanities from 1993 to 2022, provided the Commencement Address on Dec. 15, 2023. The ceremony at the Celeste Center on the Ohio State Fairgrounds included graduates from Summer and Autumn semesters. Nearly 1,000 students earned associate degrees. Howard told graduates, “You can be sure you are the product of smart, dedicated, and caring faculty, administrators, and staff who have chosen as their life’s work the mission of helping young people where they want to go.”
