COVID-19 vaccine clinic scheduled for June 16
Campus News | Monday, June 14, 2021
Columbus State, in partnership with Costco, will offer no-cost Johnson & Johnson or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines by appointment (click link to register) and walk-in availability from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 at Mitchell Hall (250 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215).
Walk-ins are available
- Single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines can be chosen by ages 18 and up.
- The Pfizer two-dose regimen can be chosen for ages 12 and up (minors require consent), with second doses scheduled July 7.
As an added incentive for Columbus State students to get vaccinated, enrolled students who choose to participate in the clinic will be able to enter an onsite raffle for a chance to win one of 10 $500 gift cards for our Bookstore OR for Amazon.
To reserve an appointment for either vaccine in advance, click Reserve an Appointment. You will be asked to provide primary care provider and insurance coverage details if you have them, but you don’t need to have either to receive the vaccine. Advance appointments are strongly encouraged to minimize any wait time.
While Pfizer shots can be administered to ages 12 and up, children under 18 require parent or legal guardian consent, and a parent or legal guardian should accompany them to both clinics (second dose July 7).
Columbus State is partnering with Costco for the benefit of our students, employees and their families, but the June 16 clinic will be open to any walk-ins, and advance registration can be shared on an individualized basis within your networks.
